EMS Week 2023 (May 23, 2023)

Happy EMS Week 2023 to our members, volunteer/combination partners, and surrounding agencies from our local to yours!
I am so proud of what our members do 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our members come to work every day for a 24+ hour shift and give it their all. They respond to calls as quickly and safely as possible with limited resources, without a single selfish thought. They give up warm meals, breaks to relax, and even sleep to make sure the residents of Cecil County stay healthy in their time of need. Many come in on their days off to ensure shifts are covered, or hold over several hours after their shift to keep units in service. They overcome growing pains of an ever changing 911 system, respond to more calls than ever before, and stay humble and excellent no matter what situation they are thrown into.
This year as a small token of our appreciation, union members are being distributed stickers (shown below) to display their pride. Thank you to Shephard Design for absolutely nailing it with these decals!
