Hello everyone and welcome back for our second edition of #MedicMonday! Today we are proud to introduce Anita Hennemuth. Anita is currently assigned to Paramedic 1 (Colora station) on A Shift!
Name: Anita Hennemuth
How long have you been with Cecil County/Local 4645?: 17 years this December.
How did you start in EMS?: I was a junior in high school when I joined the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun in 1986. I was interested in the medical field and initially wanted to be a flight medic in the Air Force.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?: “Helping my community in their time of need.” Anita also sent me this photo and said “Not only do I love helping the humans in my community, I love kitties too.”
Tell us about your life outside of work: I live with my husband, three cats and a dog. I love spending time with my family.
What is an interesting fact about you that people might not know?: I’m the youngest of eight children and many people don’t know that Kevin Vaughan, Captain of Electronic Services for CCDES/DES 8 is my son.
