Brianna Reynolds
Jan 28, 2024

For this #MedicMonday, we'd like to introduce Brianna Reynolds. Brianna Is currently assigned to A shift at Central Station in North East.

How long have you been with Cecil County/Local 4645?: I have been with CCDES since October 2016, and joined the Union shortly after.

How did you get started in EMS?: I got started in EMS in 2012. I was working at Harford Memorial Hospital as a Nursing Assistant and was taking prerequisites for Nursing school. My uncle was a volunteer Firefighter and got me to join the local Fire department on a whim. From there I had the best mentor Kimmy Rolland, and I was instantly hooked on being a part of EMS. I took EMT, and decided to get my Paramedic instead of continuing to Nursing School.

What would you say is the most rewarding part of your job?: Being able to make a difference big or small on occasion in people's lives.I also enjoy being a Field Training Officer. When I first started with CCDES, I was a new paramedic, and my Field Training Officer Jacob White was a phenomenal FTO. Looking back I see how much he helped me, and I want to be able to make that difference for others too.

Do you have any interesting facts about yourself?: I have played the piano since I was six years old, and still do enjoy playing piano.

I love roller coasters!

Halloween is my favorite Holiday.

Tell us about yourself outside of work? (i.e. Hobbies, Interests, etc): Outside of work my first Joy which is new is being a mom to my wonderful Daughter Rowen. It's a never ending exciting adventure. I love to go hiking, and shopping.

Brianna currently serves as the Vice President of our local. Thanks for sharing Brianna! We're proud to have you as a part of our team!
